Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a Host/Hostess to manage timely and efficient seating of guests at our venue. You will greet patrons, seat them, and provide menus while rotating tables to balance workload among servers.

Responsibilities include answering reservation calls, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting staff as needed. The role requires flexibility for mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Must be personable, outgoing and demonstrate initiative.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including employees and the general public.
• Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and persuasively using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation with ability to communicate one-on-one or in group settings.
• Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization.

Aufgaben

• Seat guests promptly and assign tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation.
• Greet guests on arrival, seat them and provide menus.
• Answer phones for reservations and inquiries or transfer calls to staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe facility and ensure compliance with health codes.
• Assist restaurant staff as needed.
• Keep supervisor informed of key issues or concerns.
• Uphold safety in the workplace and respond to hazardous situations.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
