Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Host in Austin to welcome members and guests, manage reservations for the Club and F&B venues, and handle calls with warmth and efficiency. You will help maintain a seamless dining experience and assist the reception team to meet service standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in similar roles, OpenTable and MICROS experience, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Join a team dedicated to hospitality and guests' positive first impressions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• OpenTable and MICROS experience required.
• Experience handling high-volume phone lines and guest inquiries professionally.
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Detail oriented, articulate and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests by name and handle reservations.
• Answer high-volume phone lines and provide information on menus, hours, amenities, and reservations.
• Create reservations for clubs/restaurants and assist service teams.
• Maintain a friendly, accurate and discreet communication style.
• Collaborate with reception to ensure excellent service for members.
• Build relationships with members and communicate feedback to management.
• Contribute to a fun and professional atmosphere on shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
