Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group seeks a friendly host to welcome guests, manage reservations, and seat diners efficiently. You will hand out menus, answer questions, and guide guests to the right tables while coordinating with servers for timely service.

Responsibilities include maintaining waiting lists, updating guest counts, and ensuring a clean hostess area. Prior cash handling and basic math skills will be valuable, along with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is desired.
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic math.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to learn and use telephone and computer systems.
• Complete required training as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests on arrival and seats them, provides menus and information.
• Maintains a waiting list and communicates estimated wait times.
• Seats guests and introduces them to their server.
• Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction and thanks them on departure.
• Maintains cleanliness of hostess stand and dining area; follows safety policies.
