Job summary

Restaurant 604 is hiring a friendly Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage seating, and run the host station. You will maintain the floor chart, fairly distribute guests among server sections, and monitor waitlists and reservations to ensure a smooth flow of service.

Responsibilities include bussing and resetting tables, taking phone orders, and upholding our guest service standards with 100% accuracy. You will be a crucial part of our Hawaii team, delivering Aloha with every guest interaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly, throughout the shift.
• Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Must be efficient and accurate with money and figures.
• Must possess manual ability to manipulate the register system and handle/serve food.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous, helpful, and prompt manner.
• Run the host station: seating guests, maintaining floor chart, distributing guests among servers.
• Take reservations and phone orders; manage waitlists and seating rotations.
• Bus, reset, and maintain tables; assist with side work as needed.
• Communicate reservations for large parties to management and kitchen staff.
• Provide menu guidance and explain specials when asked.
