Job summary

URBN is seeking a part-time Host to join our garden-to-table concepts in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will greet guests, seat guests, and help manage coats, strollers, accessibility, and seating needs with a polished, welcoming demeanor.

Utilize OpenTable and other booking tools to manage reservations and waitlists, then coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth seating and guest flow.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hosting or customer service experience preferred.
• Confident communicator and calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar systems.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with warmth, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Assist with coats, strollers, accessibility, and special seating needs.
• Accommodate guest requests (e.g., highchairs, dietary restrictions).
• Follow brand Steps of Service from arrival to farewell.
• Maintain a calm, polished demeanor even during peak periods.
• Use online booking tools to manage reservations and waitlists.
• Strategically assign tables to maintain pacing and optimize flow.
