Job summary

The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado seeks a friendly Host to warmly welcome guests, seat them, and present menus in a professional, timely manner. This role reports to the Restaurant Manager and is ideal for someone with a passion for guest service.

Responsibilities include managing wait times, guiding seating, assisting servers during service, and maintaining a clean dining area. Must be able to stand long hours and work nights/weekends/holidays with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of guest service principles and best practices.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely, friendly manner and assist with seating.
• Communicate wait times and manage the seating chart fairly.
• Assist servers and bussers to clear and reset tables as needed.
• Ensure bar area tables are clean and stocked; support daily service operations.
• Answer phone calls and provide accurate wait times and reservations.
