Job summary

The Little Nell in Aspen is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests on arrival, seat them at appropriate tables, and present clean menus in a professional, timely manner to ensure a warm first impression.

This role reports to the Bar Manager and requires clear communication of wait times, accurate seating management, and readiness to assist with side work, food running, bussing, and answering basic resort questions to guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate and follow oral or written directions in English is required.
• High School graduate preferred.
• TIPS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely manner.
• Communicate wait times and accommodate guests.
• Manage seating chart to allocate tables fairly.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables.
• Maintain clean bar area and stocked condiments.
• Answer phone, handle reservations and basic questions.
• Participate in daily restaurant cleaning and prep.
• Able to assist as server, food runner or busser if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
