Job summary

The Little Nell is Aspen's premier Five-Star, Five-Diamond hotel, offering ski-in/ski-out access, award-winning dining, and exceptional personal service. The Host greets guests, seats them, and presents menus in a friendly, efficient manner within a luxury setting.

Reporting to the Bar Manager, you will manage seating, handle wait times, and assist across restaurant operations to ensure a flawless guest experience. Weekend/evening shifts and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate and follow oral or written directions in English.
• High School graduate preferred.
• TIPS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly upon arrival and seat them friendly and professionally.
• Explain menus, present clean menus, and manage expectations on wait times.
• Maintain a fair seating chart between servers and stations.
• Clear and reset tables as needed; assist with side work.
• Keep bar area tables clean, stocked, and organized.
• Answer phone calls regarding wait times and reservations.
• Participate in daily cleaning and help during service as needed.
• Support server/food runner/busser roles when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
