Job summary

PLANTA is seeking a Host to welcome guests and manage reservations with warmth and efficiency. You will greet guests, seat arrivals, and coordinate with the leadership team to ensure a world-class guest experience.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of hospitality experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time on-site role offering growth within PLANTA and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience using reservation systems (SevenRooms preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Humility, relatability and a confident attitude.
• Attention to detail and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations and walk-ins.
• Seat guests proactively and coordinate with leadership for smooth service.
• Maintain host stands, entrances, floors and washrooms in a clean, presentable state.
• Communicate guest information and special occasions to the team.
• Ensure opening/closing checklists are completed and tasks are followed.
• Utilize SevenRooms to log reservations and updates.
