Job summary

PLANTA is seeking a Host to create a warm, welcoming start to the guest experience at our New York location. You will greet guests, manage seating and reservations, and coordinate with the leadership team to ensure a world-class dining experience.

You will use SevenRooms to log guest information, coordinate with kitchen and service staff, and maintain a spotless front-of-house environment while upholding PLANTA's values and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering warm, guest-focused service.
• Ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.
• Strong communication with leadership and kitchen.
• Familiarity with SevenRooms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage seating to optimize flow.
• Answer calls, take reservations, and handle callbacks.
• Maintain front-of-house cleanliness and organization.
• Update reservation system with guest details and occasions.
• Communicate guest needs and allergies to management and kitchen.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure smooth service and timely seating.
