Job summary

PARLOUR is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to welcome guests, seat dining parties, manage reservations and walk-ins, and coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure a smooth dining experience. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, and employees enjoy opportunities for growth and competitive hourly wages.

You should have excellent communication, be able to stay calm under pressure, and maintain a clean lobby. Familiarity with POS and reservation systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) and reservation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, manage reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and deliver silverware.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Provide accurate wait time estimates and inform guests about availability.
• Address guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist with special requests for personalized experiences.
• Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to elevate the guest experience.
• Efficiently manage and process carry-out orders.
• Maintain the lobby area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Handle payment transactions accurately and securely.
