Job summary

Gin & Luck is seeking a Host to warmly greet guests, manage the wait list and reservations, and assist FOH during service. You will uphold our service standards, stay informed on policies, and collaborate with Lead Servers and management to ensure smooth dining experiences.

The role requires Wednesday and Fri-Sun availability, a positive attitude, and strong communication. Benefits include transit options and medical coverage for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Greet guests and manage waitlists and reservations.
• Knowledge of service guidelines and manual.
• Fluent knowledge of our policies and hours for all spaces.
• Proficient in Tock or other booking systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication for guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Arrive with a positive attitude and be prepared for the shift.
• Know and utilize the service guidelines and policies.
• Maintain table and section knowledge and guest flow during service.
• Monitor arrival and wait times; assist with guest complaints per procedures.
• Handle gift certificate transactions and documentation.
• Develop knowledge of food/beverage offerings and standards.
• Assist in running food/beverages and resetting tables.
• Stay updated on Slack channels and respond before shifts.
