Castaway Burbank in Monterey Park is seeking a part-time Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests, manage seating, and ensure a smooth dining experience.

You will greet guests, answer calls, take reservations, maintain the front-of-house area, and work with servers and managers to deliver a superior guest experience. Flexibility to work weekends/holidays is required, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior host/hostess or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Physical ability to walk/stand for hours; lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests warmly and seat them efficiently.
• Manage seating chart and balance guest preferences.
• Provide accurate wait times and assist guests during waits.
• Answer phone, take reservations, and manage guest list.
• Maintain front-of-house area and host stand.
• Communicate with servers and managers to ensure seamless service.
• Assist with special events and other tasks.
