Job summary

Luminarias Restaurant in Monterey Park, CA is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests, escort them to their table, manage seating charts, and coordinate wait times to ensure a smooth dining experience.

You will answer phones, take reservations, maintain the front-of-house area, and communicate with servers and managers to support a seamless guest journey. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage the guest list.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and entryway.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including helping with special events.
