Job summary

Oak-and-Ston is seeking a friendly Host to be the first team member guests meet. You will greet and seat guests, present menus, and inform them of specials to create a welcoming dining experience from the moment guests arrive. You will manage the waiting list, quote accurate wait times, keep the floor plan updated, and ensure tables are clean and ready.

You’ll stock menus, tidy the host area, and assist servers to ensure smooth service. Appearance and customer service are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, and informs them of specials.
• Takes names on a waiting list and quotes wait times to guests when tables are not immediately available.
• Cleans and wipes down tables; maintains restrooms; organizes host area and merch.
