Job summary

Oak & Stone is seeking a welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for guests. You will greet, seat, present menus, and inform guests of specials while maintaining a warm, efficient dining flow.

In this role, you will manage waitlists, keep the host area organized, clean tables, restrooms, and assist with side tasks to support smooth restaurant service. A polished appearance and strong customer service mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guest, and informs them of specials.
• Takes names on a waiting list and quotes wait times to guests when tables are not immediately available.
• Runs the floor plan board and observes tables to keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
• Cleans and wipes down tables and stocks menus in the host area.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Maintains restrooms throughout the shift (refill paper towels and hand soap).
• Organizes merchandise and reports to work in a neat and clean uniform.
• Maintains adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
