Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Fluent English speaking, writing and comprehension required.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred; will train as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check reservation books, call reservations and confirm accurately.
• Greet guests upon arrival or on the phone with a professional greeting.
• Assign seating according to table rotation and stations.
• Control waitlist and reservations sheets for each shift.
• Walk guests to tables, pull chairs, hand out menus, offer a pleasant experience.
• Perform cashier duties per SOPs and policies.
• Count and verify all cash exchanges with servers and guests.
• Process guest charges including cards, room charges, comps, discounts.
• Reconcile and complete daily reports.
• Make change or exchanges for internal guests.
• Assist in daily bank deposits and other duties as assigned.
