Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Tennessee is seeking a friendly Host to warmly welcome guests, open doors, escort to tables and manage seating with OpenTable. You are the first and last impression of the dining experience.

You will work with the Front of House team, maintain a clean host stand, support bussing, and enjoy flexible schedules, paid training, and growth opportunities. Excellent communication and a guest‑focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Ability to maintain a guest‑oriented mindset and positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth service.
