Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Host in a fast-paced dining environment in Austin, TX. You will greet guests, manage seating with the front-of-house team, and assist servers and runners to ensure a memorable guest experience.

The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to work in a high-energy setting, and strong English communication. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior food and beverage experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Food and Beverage experience in a full service setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with courteous, friendly, and efficient service.
• Seat guests and coordinate with front-of-house staff for seating and server rotation.
• Process to-go orders quickly and accurately in the POS system.
• Assist servers and food runners as needed.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked host stand.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and comply with applicable laws.
