Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is looking for a friendly host to welcome guests and coordinate reservations at Kimpton The Forum - Birch & Bloom. You will provide information and support with a gracious, professional demeanor, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.

Role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and the ability to learn menu and allergy details. Weekend, night, and holiday availability is expected, with benefits including PTO and 401k where eligible.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Learn, retain, and present product, menu and allergy information to guests.
• Knowledge of restaurant POS and reservation systems.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and passion for hospitality.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Flexible schedule; available weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet restaurant guests and provide area information on request.
• Seat guests fairly and consistently.
• Handle paperwork, stock, and tidy the host stand.
• Receive calls and book reservations accurately.
• Take room service orders if applicable.
• Check floor for cleanliness and assist in bussing tables.
• Assist servers by refilling beverages as needed.
• Perform other restaurant and customer service tasks as required.
• Be prepared to take on additional duties as needed.
