Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests and manage reservations at our restaurant. You’ll coordinate seating, assist guests, and partner with the service team to create memorable experiences in a fast-paced setting.

We value authentic hospitality, teamwork, and a willingness to adapt. Flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings, is required to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Able to learn, retain, and present menu and allergy information to guests.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant POS and reservation systems.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and passion for hospitality.
• Flexible schedule and availability for weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet restaurant guests and provide information about the area.
• Provide fair and consistent seating of guests.
• Accurately handle paperwork, stock, and tidy the host stand.
• Receive phone calls and book reservations for guests.
• Take room service orders if applicable.
• Check floor and table cleanliness, assist in bussing tables.
• Help servers by refilling beverages when needed.
• Perform other restaurant and customer service requests as needed.
• May take on additional responsibilities as needed.
