Qualifications

• High volume restaurant management or supervisory experience required.
• Basic knowledge of computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment.
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal abilities to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Health Card.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Service Runners as it relates to guest contact and table information.
• Seat guests at tables using established rotation criteria and ensure smooth seating flow.
• Communicate special orders, cake orders, and guest requests to management and kitchen staff.
• Keep knowledge of daily activities, house count, table numbers, and dress code up to date.
• Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant and respond to requests.
• Answer phones and facilitate guest requests with courtesy and efficiency.
• Ensure menus are current and replace worn menus as needed.
• Relay guest needs and feedback to kitchen and management to ensure quality service.
• Check back with waiting guests to keep them informed and comfortable.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and operate POS systems.
