Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago is seeking a Front Desk Manager to lead the Front Office, directing guest services and ensuring personalized, seamless service around the clock. You will supervise the Front Desk team, handle arrivals and departures, respond to guest requests, and uphold hotel standards with leadership, presence and attention to detail.

In this role you will build strong relationships, coordinate with valet and transportation partners, and contribute to Ritz-Carlton's legendary guest

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years as front desk supervisor or four years front office experience.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent cash handling and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in procedures.
• Oversee check-out and settle accounts with accurate charges.
• Supervise front desk team and ensure high service levels.
• Respond to guest inquiries and reservations with professional communication.
• Coordinate guest services, transportation, and group arrivals/departures.
• Operate PBX and manage wake-up calls.
• Maintain cash control and hotel records.
