Qualifications

• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage front-end operations and supervise checkout lanes.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS equipment.
• Ability to reconcile cash and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Knowledge of store policies including safety, loss prevention, dress code and coupon policies.

Responsibilities

• Champions customer service programs to meet division goals and resolves complaints.
• Supervises front-end operations, monitors customer flow and checkout coverage.
• Balances cash handling, registers, and daily deposit slips; reports sales data.
• Responds to calls and intercom messages accurately.
• Manages cash flow, safe transactions, refunds and cashier funds procedures.
• Enforces safety, loss prevention and dress standards for front-end staff.
• May act as backup checker and engage in suggestive selling.
