Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to support customers at the checkout, process payments, scan items, bag groceries and answer questions. You will help ensure accuracy and a smooth shopping experience in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining the checkout area, restocking, and adhering to store policies while staying adaptable to changing tasks and customer flow throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements).
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process purchases at checkout and assist customers.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and complete transactions accurately.
• Answer questions and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Maintain checkout area and restock as needed.
• Follow store policies and register procedures.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
