General Hotels Corporation, Homewood Suites Munster, is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel, handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism.

You'll collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction, assist with reservations and special requests, and maintain accurate billing while providing local recommendations and a warm, proactive service mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
• Assist guests with reservations, room requests, and special accommodations.
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate billing records.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutions.
• Maintain accurate guest information and room assignments.
• Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready front desk environment.
• Follow company policies, brand standards, and operational procedures.
• Support overall hotel operations as needed.
