Job summary

Ivy Hospitality in Westlake, Ohio seeks a Front Desk Agent for the 2nd shift to welcome guests, handle efficient check-ins/check-outs, and address guest inquiries with courtesy. You will promote the loyalty program, process payments, manage a house bank, and assist with service requests.

From answering calls to coordinating transportation and providing local area information, you’ll support guests while maintaining a neat appearance and following all procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of the hotel, its services, and surrounding area.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
• Lift up to 15 lbs on occasion.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, check them in/out, and verify reservations.
• Promote and enroll guests in the hotel loyalty program.
• Process payments, manage a house bank, and report daily receipts.
• Assist with service requests, issue keys, and handle safe deposit boxes.
• Respond to guest complaints with solutions and escalate when needed.
• Answer calls courteously and manage reservations efficiently.
• Assist with shuttle or transportation services in a timely manner.
• Assist guests with luggage and provide local area information.
