Job summary

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Louisville Downtown is seeking a Front Desk Manager to lead front desk operations and deliver exceptional guest service. The role includes interviewing, training, and coaching associates, scheduling staff, and ensuring brand standards are met.

The position involves managing guest check-ins/outs, handling requests, resolving complaints, and supporting budgeting and forecast activities for the front office.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 to 3 years hospitality-related experience, including front desk operations.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring alignment with brand standards and HHM values.
• Oversee front office operations in the absence of the Assistant General Manager.
• Assist guests with check-in/check-out, bills, and guest requests.
• Resolve guest complaints by researching the situation and delivering effective solutions.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve departmental performance.
• Assist in budget development, forecasts, and monitoring for the front office.
