Job summary

The St. Joe Company operates Embassy Suites in Panama City Beach, FL, seeking a Front Desk Agent for a part-time role. You will greet guests, handle check-in/check-out, answer questions, and suggest activities and dining options to ensure a memorable stay.

Responsibilities include payments, billing issue resolution, coordinating with housekeeping, and assisting VIP guests and event attendees. Prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Greeting guests at the front desk and answering questions.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in basic English.
• Previous hospitality or customer-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers guest and accommodates requests whenever possible
• Handles both check-in and check-out process
• Takes payment and resolves billing issues
• Post changes to guest accounts
• Maintain accurate records of guests checked in/out
• Answer phones and respond to emails professionally
• Provide information about rooms, rates and amenities
• Address guest needs and resolve problems or complaints
• Make recommendations for activities and restaurants
• Confirm group reservations and arrange services for VIPs and events
• Upsell facilities and services when appropriate
• Coordinate with housekeeping to prepare rooms
• Store luggage and arrange transportation as needed
• Maintain a clean front desk area
