Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego, CA is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, and provide personalized service. You will communicate hotel offerings, assist with reservations, and support guests with local information to ensure an outstanding visit.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of front desk or hotel experience, are able to work weekends/holidays, and can handle shifting demands while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or training preferred.
• Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform check-in/check-out, issue keys, and process payments.
• Provide guests with information about the hotel, services, and local area.
• Upsell room types, packages, and services to enhance guest experience.
• Communicate with other departments to resolve requests and issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and ensure privacy in hotel systems.
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and service recovery with empathy.
