Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in San Diego is seeking a Guest Services Agent to greet guests, manage check-in/check-out, answer inquiries, and support the Front Desk team with reservations and guest requests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of hotel or retail customer service preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue keys, and provide information on hotel services.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintain security of guest information and transactions.
• Take reservations and up-sell rooms to maximize revenue.
• Follow seasonal reservation strategies for pricing and demand.
• Coordinate with other shifts and management to ensure quality service.
• Assist with shoppe and beverage service in line with local laws.
