Job summary

ARK is seeking a friendly hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team in Town of Florida, NY. You will welcome guests, check them in and out, handle reservations, and answer inquiries with a focus on delivering an excellent experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate guest accounts, processing bookings, and coordinating with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready. Strong communication and hands-on hospitality are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and manage calls smoothly.
• Experience in hotel operations or related roles is preferred, 1+ year.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests' needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
• General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
• Handle customer complaints as necessary
• Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests
• Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers
