Job summary

InnVentures is hiring a Front Desk Agent at Courtyard Portland Tigard, OR. You will be the first impression for guests, handling check-in/check-out and addressing questions with courtesy and efficiency.

You will coordinate with departments to fulfill guest requests, provide local area directions, and maintain accurate cash handling and reservations. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Guest-facing customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to read, write, type and use basic technology; stand for shift; lift up to 25 pounds.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests receive a friendly, efficient and error-free check-in and check-out experience.
• Handle continuous requests in a fast paced environment by coordinating with other departments to ensure all guest requests are met.
• Answer questions regarding the local area and facilities and be able to give proper directions and resources to positively influence each guest’s stay.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette including transferring calls, taking messages and making reservations.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and be able to post and reconcile charges applied to guest receipts.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
