Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service to guests from arrival to departure. You will handle check-ins/outs, respond to inquiries, manage reservations, and operate the front desk system with accuracy and courtesy.

Ideal candidates have strong English skills, cash handling experience, and prior hospitality experience; weekend and holiday availability is required. This role offers on-site work at the hotel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality/Hotel Management degree preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience handling cash and general administrative tasks.
• Ability to assimilate complex information and adapt to constraints.
• Effective in solving problems under pressure.
• Excellent listening and written/spoken communication.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Valid driver’s license and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Assist guests with requests, problems and complaints at the front desk.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services and local area.
• Follow all Lexima/Brand credit policies.
• Be aware of rates, packages, and promotions.
• Operate front desk computer system.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction surveys.
• Maintain front office area clean and organized.
• Comply with Lexima/Brand policies and hotel rules.
• Participate in meetings and events.
• Develop understanding of hotel amenities and services.
• Understand emergency procedures and be prepared to help.
• Use proper radio etiquette.
• Perform other duties as requested.
