Home2 Suites by Hilton Houston IAH Airport Beltway 8 is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, manage check-in/check-out, and assist with reservations and billing questions. You will handle payments, provide local information, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a smooth stay.

The role requires excellent customer service, calm multitasking, and the ability to stay organized during busy times.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• A professional, positive, and calm approach, even during busy shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Previous hotel front desk, customer service, retail, or cash-handling experience is preferred, but not required.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts as needed.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, complete check-in and check-out, and assist with reservations, room assignments, and billing questions.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest requests, and provide helpful information about the hotel and local area.
• Handle payments, deposits, cash, and credit-card transactions accurately.
• Communicate room-status updates and guest needs with housekeeping, maintenance, and management.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and know when to involve a manager.
• Maintain accurate records, follow hotel security procedures, and protect guest privacy.
• Complete shift reports, pass-on notes, and other assigned front-desk duties.
• Help create a smooth, friendly, and professional stay for every guest.
