Job summary

Doubletree by Hilton- Colorado Springs is seeking a friendly hotel front desk agent to welcome guests, manage guest information, distribute keys and room assignments, and respond to general inquiries for a superior guest experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to guest satisfaction, with hospitality experience preferred and the ability to handle busy, demanding situations professionally.

Qualifications

• Experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
• Must have graduated high school, GED or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.
• Minimum of one year in hospitality as a front desk agent or similar.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, register, check-in, and check-out guests; provide keys and room numbers; record credit card information.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to prepare rooms for new guests.
• Maintain current guest information and records; perform regular bookkeeping duties.
• Handle inquiries about rooms, amenities, rates, special requests and rewards programs.
• Address customer complaints as needed.
