Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hotel experience – preferably prior Front Desk Agent experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to accomplish necessary tasks on the computer.
• Schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.
• Perform cashier functions including posting charges, making change, balancing drawers at end of shift.
• Present statements to and collect payments from departing guests.
• Answer phone calls promptly with complete and accurate information.
• Complete items listed on the Front Desk checklist for the shift.
• Follow established key control policy.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guest arrivals.
• Maintain Front Desk supplies.
• Assist with group blocks and rooming lists.
• Assist in training new staff members.
• Provide solutions to problems for guests, associates and management.
