Job summary

Terranea Resort is seeking a Food Runner to support guest experience at the resort. The role involves setting up the runner station, accurately reading tickets for special preparations and allergies, and delivering food from kitchen to guests' seats with precision.

Responsibilities include maintaining pool area cleanliness, clearing tables, and ensuring bus tubs are ready for use. You will adhere to Terranea's standards, communicate clearly with guests and teammates, and uphold service quality

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend English.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and motivated.
• Ability to work under variable temperature conditions and maintain service standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up food runner station according to Terranea's standards
• Accurately reads tickets for special preparations/allergies
• Run food orders from kitchen to guest's seat
• Consistently keep the pool area organized and clean
• Assist with pick up of soiled plates and beverages
• Ensure full bus tubs are returned to the service area
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, storage, towels throughout the day
• Complete closing duties, including requisitioning items
• Ensure uniform and appearance are clean and professional
• Acknowledge guests according to company standards
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs
• Speak with team members and guests using clear language
• Adhere to quality expectations and standards
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds as needed
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors
