Job summary

Dawson, a Central Ohio staffing agency, is seeking a welcoming front desk specialist to be the first face job seekers and clients see. You’ll greet visitors with warmth and professionalism and help guide them through the check-in and registration process.

You will also handle incoming calls, connect callers to the right information, perform HR administrative tasks (background checks, pre-employment verification), and support the team with duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• A genuinely warm and welcoming presence.
• Polished, professional, and dependable.
• Clear communicator in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the welcoming presence at our front desk – greeting every job seeker and client who walks through the door with genuine warmth and professionalism
• Answer incoming calls and connect callers with the right information or the right person quickly and efficiently
• Guide job seekers through the check-in and registration process before they meet with their recruiter
• Complete HR administrative tasks for each job seeker, including background checks and pre-employment verification
• Support the team with additional administrative duties as needed
