Job summary

Cape Resorts is seeking a Guest Services Representative at Congress Hall Hotel in Cape May, NJ. You will warmly greet guests, provide information about the hotel and surrounding area, and assist with transportation, reservations, and tours to ensure a memorable stay.

Qualifications include excellent communication, strong customer service, and experience with MS Word/Excel/Outlook. Knowledge of local attractions and timekeeping or PMS systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 3 years of customer service experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiar with Time Keeping and PMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide information about Congress Hall and Cape May.
• Coordinate events or projects as assigned.
• Assist guests with problems with hotel services.
• Arrange transportation needs for guests.
• Provide information on the geographical area; suggest site-seeing locations and arrange tours.
• Maintain accurate information on local restaurant hours, shop hours, shows, and tours.
• Assist guests with restaurant reservations, golf reservations, show tickets, etc.
• Provide guests with directions to spots in Cape May and the surrounding area.
• Maintain hotel lobby display boxes.
• Sell tickets for hotel special events.
• Assist Front Desk as needed with checkouts and/or room checks.
