Job summary

The Carriages of Bloomington is seeking a Concierge (Receptionist) to warmly greet residents, families, and visitors while ensuring smooth front-desk operations in our assisted living community. You will handle phones, route inquiries, and support clerical tasks with a friendly, professional demeanor.

The ideal candidate has a compassionate approach to elder care, strong communication skills, and at least 1 year of clerical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of clerical experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line telephones and direct callers to the appropriate person.
• Greets and directs visitors and vendors.
• Promptly addresses residents' requests and complaints.
• Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail.
• Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services.
• Assists with other clerical duties such as inputting data, photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating.
