Job summary

GOLD'S GYM is seeking a Front Desk Team Member in Austin. You will warmly greet members and guests, check in members, and manage front desk operations to ensure a welcoming experience. You will assist with memberships, sales, and inquiries while maintaining a tidy, secure reception area.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced gym environment. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Organized, friendly, with a passion for fitness.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use POS and CRM systems.
• Ability to multi-task and work holidays/weekends.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must comply with Gold's Gym policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests and staff warmly at the front desk.
• Check-in members and register guests using proper procedures.
• Provide security and control at the front door and retail area.
• Assist with membership sales and signing up members.
• Direct guests to trainers and classes; handle phone inquiries.
• Maintain front desk area and log maintenance concerns.
• Process retail and concession sales; maintain stock.
• Attend staff meetings and follow company policies.
