Qualifications

• 1 year of front desk or guest service experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Willingness to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Fluency in the local language; additional languages a plus.
• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the warm welcome that starts a memorable guest experience.
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
• Take and manage guest bookings, upsell opportunities, and inform guests about ways to improve their stay.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Check guests in and out, collect IDs, hand out room keys, and manage safety deposit boxes.
• Record and act on guest preferences and handle messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
• Be a trusted contact for guests and assist with bills or local knowledge, involving management when needed.
• Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear any required protective gear.
• Present a professional appearance and serve as a brand ambassador.
• Know the day’s events and activities.
• Support colleagues with ad-hoc duties as needed.
