Job summary

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a Front Desk Agent at our Herndon, VA location to warmly greet guests, check them in/out, and process charges with accuracy.

You will handle cash and card payments, assist with reservations, and maintain knowledge of front office procedures to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/customer service.
• Strong work ethic and guest-focused mindset.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, check them in and out promptly and professionally.
• Post charges accurately for hotel services and transactions.
• Maintain working knowledge of Front Office systems and daily transactions.
• Handle cash, checks and card payments and provide correct change.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Know hotel rates, discounts, and rate rules.
• Take same-day reservations and follow cancellation/relocation procedures.
