Job summary

The InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Fort Meade, MD to warmly welcome guests, manage bookings, handle transactions, and offer local insights for a seamless stay.

You will check guests in and out, assist with requests, upsell services, and act as a brand ambassador while following safety procedures. A high school diploma and 1 year of front desk experience are preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and flexible shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in front desk/guest service preferred (1+ year).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, basic math and operate computers.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage bookings and check-ins/outs.
• Handle cash/credit transactions and upsell services.
• Provide local information and assist with guest requests.
• Maintain guest records and respond to inquiries while following safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth guest experiences.
