Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver outstanding front desk service from check-in through departure. The role involves responding to guest needs, handling inquiries, and promoting hotel amenities and seasonal promotions.

The position requires focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction, with strong communication and teamwork to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Follow policies and procedures while improving standards of operation.
• Follow safety and security procedures and will not pose a direct threat to health/safety.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, maintain concentration, and complete work.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Communicate calmly with guests, co-workers or supervisors in tense situations.
• Interact with people and resolve complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and register guests expeditiously, verify rate and departure date, and confirm information per hotel procedures.
• Check departing guests out of the hotel per hotel procedures.
• Answer guest questions and resolve problems in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction.
• Offer guest rooms, food & beverage outlets and seasonal hotel promotions.
• Review Front Desk log and post charges to room or master account.
• Communicate with other hotel departments to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all equipment is in operation and supplies are stocked; report needs.
