Job summary

Hilton Washington DC National Mall is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver exceptional front desk service from reservation to departure. The role emphasizes guest needs, responses to requests, and promoting hotel outlets and seasonal promotions.

Hourly rate is $30.25/hour. The position requires hotel/hospitality experience with a strong focus on communication, teamwork and delivering total guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Check-in guests quickly, verify rate and prepare records.
• Check out departing guests following hotel procedures.
• Answer questions and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Offer rooms, dining and seasonal promotions to guests.
• Log shift details and post charges to accounts.
• Coordinate with other departments for guest care.
• Process mail, messages and packages as needed.
• Promote Hilton Honors and loyalty programs.
• Maintain front desk equipment and stock.
• Attend department and inter-department meetings.
