Job summary

OCI Hospitality at Hampton Inn & Suites in Minnesota is seeking a friendly front desk associate to welcome guests, check in/out, handle reservations, answer calls, and resolve issues with professionalism.

We require strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings preferred. Training provided. Experience in hospitality is a plus; familiarity with PMS systems is helpful.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills with ability to learn hotel software.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Process reservations, cancellations, room changes, and extensions.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
• Handle guest concerns and escalate to management when necessary.
• Accurately process credit cards and other payment transactions.
• Verify guest information and maintain accurate reservation records.
• Assign guest rooms while maximizing occupancy and following hotel procedures.
• Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments about guest needs.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and Hilton Honors benefits.
• Promote Hilton Honors enrollment and hotel amenities when appropriate.
• Monitor lobby activity to help ensure safety and security of guests and team members.
• Keep front desk, lobby, and public areas clean and welcoming.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Assist with laundry, breakfast, or other duties during busy periods.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
