Job summary

The Whaler Resort at Ka’anapali Beach, managed by HEI Hotels and Resorts, seeks a friendly Front Desk Agent to assist arrivals and departures and provide exceptional guest experiences.

You will handle registration, process payments, answer inquiries, and help guests with local information and services. Prior hotel front desk experience is preferred. This full-time role offers competitive benefits on Maui.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and reconcile transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and assist with arrival and departure.
• Complete the registration process and input guest information and rates into the system.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization; process payments and balance the house bank.
• Answer calls promptly and relay messages; assist with luggage handling and guest requests.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
