Courtland Grand Hotel in Atlanta is seeking a Front Desk Agent to assist guests during arrival and departure and provide a seamless stay. You will handle check-in/out, information requests, and essential guest services with a welcoming demeanor.

Ideal candidates bring hotel front desk experience, strong communication, and the ability to use the property computer system. This on-site role offers hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hotel front desk experience preferred and able to work flexible shifts.
• Strong calculator skills for accurate numeric calculations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.
• Able to stand and move about the front office throughout shifts.
• Capable of using a moderately complex computer system to input and retrieve data.
• Attentive to emergency situations and able to stay calm.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and provide information on hours and local attractions.
• Complete registration using the computer system and process payments.
• Code and manage room keys, rate, and related guest materials.
• Verify cards for authorization and handle cash and house accounts.
• Post charges and manage vouchers, travelers checks, and currency exchange.
• Answer phone promptly and relay messages to guests.
• Close accounts at checkout and address guest satisfaction issues.
• Resolve guest complaints through research and effective solutions.
• Remain calm during emergencies and busy hotel periods.
• Adhere to attendance rules and perform other duties as assigned.
